Meet Shabana Hussain — an alumna of Gauhati Commerce College with a B.Com and M.Com in Accounting & Finance, and a mind that never stopped at textbook learning. While most people qualify UGC-NET once and move on, Shabana cleared it three separate times (2020, 2022, and 2023) in Commerce — a reflection of just how deeply she understands her subject and how much she enjoys mastering it again and again.

Alongside her academic credentials, she is a Certified Vedic Math Professional, bringing fast, intuitive techniques into her teaching that make numbers feel less intimidating and more like an engaging game.

Her curiosity doesn't stop at commerce and mathematics. Her pioneering research on designing a wireless device to detect consumer behaviour earned her an international patent from the IP Office, London, UK — a rare achievement demonstrating her ability to think beyond conventional boundaries and apply academic knowledge to real-world technological innovation.

Through Boost-A-Brain, Shabana has coached and mentored well over a hundred students, guiding many of them to UGC-NET success themselves. She is currently pursuing a Master's in Psychology, adding yet another layer to how she approaches learning — not just what students need to know, but how they think, retain, and grow.
